A meditation on reverence, Lakeside Inn was shot over three weeks in late summer 2024 when I lived and worked at the historic 100-year-old property in Michigan.

Designed to avoid souvenir or spectacle, the work is an assembly of echoing fragments. Silent halls, the surging lake, guests, staff, and even a bloody towel found in a wall capture a place that stands as both a witness and participant, holding what passes through, while slowly being changed itself. The book is not a document of what has ended, but of what endures—a memory of memories.
